THE SUBMARINE
It is cold where the submarine lives.
It is dark where the submarine sleeps.
It is quiet where the submarine moves.
The submarine likes coming to the surface. This is the only time the submarine can see the sun.
This is the only time the submarine can see the clouds. This is the only time the submarine can see the birds.
But, the submarine does not stay at the surface long.
“Dive Dive Dive!” says the submarine captain, and the submarine goes back down into the water. It goes deeper and deeper and deeper into the water.
